During our time together, we will have discussed every little detail so on the day, you don’t give it a thought.
I will arrive at the venue and set the cake. Sometimes this can take an hour, sometimes 2 hours depending on the delicate style and size of the cake. This time is built into the cost of your cake, it is not an additional charge.
To ensure the venue look after your cake, they will be left with a sheet explaining how it is constructed – so they can take it apart, but also so they know how to cut it. When we have spent the time making sure we have just the right amount of cake for the number of slices you want it to serve, the venue need to be sure they are not over generous with their slices.
In addition, they will also receive an Allergen sheet. This lists all the ingredients and breakdown of the complex ingredients. Should anyone with an allergy need to know anything about the cake so they can eat it, it will be listed.
